@レディー・ガガ is no novice when it comes to making a statement. Her entrance on May 6 at the #MetGala, where this year's theme is Camp: Notes on Fashion, was no different. For many, embracing over-the-top may be out of their comfort zone. But for Gaga, resplendent in her @brandonmaxwell gown, it was an opportunity for performance art. With Maxwell's help, she removed her voluminous cape dress (which had a 25-foot train) to reveal a second look, a vampy corseted black dress. She upped the ante by changing into a hot pink column gown, which she wore with a pair of sunglasses. A fourth look involved a crystal bra, undergarments and pantyhose. Gaga, one of the night's hosts, commanded the #pink carpet with a regality that comes from years of embodying the camp aesthetic, on and off the stage.
