A demonstrator who was photographed being mowed down by a Venezuelan National Guard vehicle in #Caracas on April 30 is alive and expects to return to the streets to support @jguaido, the opposition leader. @reuters identified the man as Luis Alejandro, a 26-year-old business manager now recovering from a broken ankle, seven stitches in his head and other abrasions from being dragged under the armored vehicle. Luis Alejandro was among thousands who gathered during a #protest outside the “La Carlota” military base after Guaidó called on Venezuelans to support the "final phase" of his efforts to oust President Nicolás Maduro.
