平成最後の日、4月30日に39歳を迎え、そしてその日の深夜に、令和を迎えることができた。この2日間は自分にとって一生忘れられない2日間だった。北海道キャンペーン終わりで、スナちゃんにもゴールデンウィークがもらえたので（笑）、そのまま北海道を満喫させてもらうことにした。今回のトラディショナルベストが完成して、自分でもずぅ〜っと聴いているけど、今までに感じたことのない満足感と充実感に、あらためて幸せを感じている。今までももちろん聴いてくださるみなさんのためであり、そしてそこに少しの自己表現が足されることによって、ATSUSHIの味となる。ところが今回は聴いてくださる方々のためだけでなく、移り変わってゆく時代のためでもあり、亡くなられた先人の方々の想いをも歌い繋がせていただいているような、そんな気持ちになる。
聴いてくださる方のため…。
新しい時代のため…。
先人の方々のため…。
日本という素晴らしい国のため…。
苦しんでいる方々のため…。
子どもたちのため…。
そして未来のため…。
今までの作品を振り返っても、こんなにも意義のある作品を作れたことがなかったかもしれない。それもこれも、この時代に生まれ、それをさせてもらっているこの国、この環境、そして仲間、スタッフ、そしてなにより聴いてくださる方々あってのことだ。人類の営みの歴史の中、ほんのわずかなこの瞬間、この時代に生きていることを、こんなにも実感することができ、そして有り難く、尊く感じる。
心からありがとう…。
On the last day of the Heisei era - April 30th, I turned 39 years old, and at midnight I peacefully welcomed the new Reiwa era. These two days, I will never forget.
It was the end of the Hokkaido campaign, and my Instagram stories was on Golden Week holiday too (lol)! I was able to enjoy Hokkaido. My new album “Traditional Best” is out now and I'm listening to it too, and I feel happy with a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment like I have never felt before.
Of course, it is an album for everyone who listens, but by adding a little self expression to it, it becomes ATSUSHI flavored.
Furthermore, this album is not only for the people who listen to me, but also for the changing times, connecting with people who have passed away.
It is for my listeners... for the new era .... For our predecessors .... For the wonderful country of Japan .... For those who are suffering .... For the children .... And for the future .... this particular album has a lot of meaning.
I was born in this country, living in this period. This environment has allowed me to do what I do. I feel connected with this time and place, my companions, the staff, and above all the people who listen to my music. We are only on this earth for such a short snippet of time considering the history of the world. I am grateful to be here at this moment and I am happy that I can realize this.
