The girls and I fared really well without Mike this week! I got everyone to school on time, coordinated with Ruth to get both of them to all their after school activities, chaperoned a field trip, got home in time for dinner, got a sitter for a mom’s night out, made sure Mazzy got all her homework done, took Harlow to a dress rehearsal for her dance recital, got them to bed at a reasonable hour... I was feeling really good about everything until Thursday night, as I was tucking them into bed and suddenly realized— “WHEN’S THE LAST TIME EITHER OF YOU TOOK A BATH OR SHOWER???” I had forgotten to bathe them since Sunday 😳 I pulled them out of bed and stuck them in the shower so the next day, when Mike came home, I could say— Nope. No issues. Everyone was well cared for. We are good and ready to do it again next week! 👍🏻👍🏻
