heathercleck I would be very careful about using AIrbnb. We have used them for travel for years and for the first time ever we had to open a support ticket because the cancellation policy for a rental was listed incorrectly. The host apologized many times for the error but insists we are held to a policy that was not listed correctly when we booked. Airbnb is not responding to any of my questions about the claim. I believe because this “host”, unknown to us, is a large property management company. I did not even know AIrBNb did business with such. I believe because AIrBNb gets a lot of business from property management companies they are just ignoring us, despite being guests for years and always getting great ratings from hosts. So BEWARE. I have never received poor customer service from them before and this is very disappointing.

paolonewyork I have a strict cancellation policy and your guest didn’t pay you. As a result, you refuse to pay me even if the cancellation was strict and the full refund is clear in your policy. If you intend to pass on your own credit risk (you have an agreement with the guests,..) to the host, your policy should be reworded. #iposcam #realairbnb
