Meet Pat Coldir, an Airbnb host in Seward, Nebraska, and a big part of why the town is known as “America’s Official Fourth of July City.” For more than 20 years Pat has helped plan the town’s Independence Day festivities, which include a classic-car show, a pie-eating contest, an anvil firing, and, of course, fireworks. The town has a population of 7,000, but each year roughly 40,000 people come to celebrate the Fourth. “The atmosphere leading up to the celebration is palpable,” she says. “You can feel it in the air.”

sali_llinco_ @airbnb you don’t give a shit about ur costumers, i took 3 months in advance my airbnb so i would pay less (60€/night). Turns out the place i was going, menorca, has seriously restricted their airbnb acces on the island, but did airbnb cared to control? Nope, the women i booked the appartment frol got caught one week before my departure, and cancelled. i had to pay 150€ the first hotel that was the cheapest. They took years to refund me and JOKE OF THE YEAR they give you 6€ as a compensation. Worst idea to take a airbnb, go to @bookingcom i’m never disappointed and u get a minimum of service at least.

iamenergygod Airbnb does NOT care if people destroy your house. They have destroyed my house and the shooting that was there was ignored and never followed up with. I would never suggest Airbnb to host. Airbnb WILL GIVE YOU HELL and give you dead lines that are not even likely. They gave me a deadline of a holiday.
