Being a visibly fat model/public figure & is exhausting as hell. I look forward to the day when marginalized folks can take up space without it unnecessarily offending the world. 🙃 But until then, I’ll keep ruffling feathers & enjoying every moment of it. Also if you’re sick of me talking about this, imagine how I feel. 🤷🏻‍♀️ #effyourbeautystandards

fancyfreekristylee Me and a larger gentleman were assigned flight seats next to eachother. I was so sad watching him, he couldn't hide his shame and you could just tell he was utterly uncomfortable. I could feel the eyes on him as people bumped into him walking down the narrow aisles. I don't even think he was all that fat... He was just a really large person. His long legs barely fit! So although I could have sucked it in, when he whispered to the flight attendant he needed a belt extension, I shouted "Me too!". I could tell he immediately relaxed a little just knowing he had fellow "fatty" near by. The rest of the flight I chatted with him and everytime he apologized for the lack of space or people bumping into him I told him don't worry about it... Like no matter your size flights aren't the most comfortable and it's not his fault his legs are long! Other passengers started chiming in too

dreams_and_palmtrees My mother had 150 pounds less than you when she had diabetes,cataract etc. It is not fun being sick all the time and having to poke yourself with a needle 3x a day plus the need to take ALOT of medication daily just to survive. My sister is 220 pounds and is in constant hronic pain on her feet and knees. I myself was obese not morbidly as you ,and had horrible blood test results and not to mention other problems. So i do not believe that you can be fit or healthy at any size. Being sick and not able to walk for 1h due to being fat is not normal and it is not fun. Being of poor health is devastating,i know cause it is all around me. I wish everybody health.

mellys.craftworks The thing that kills me in these same comments, saying the same shit, is who's mf business is it? Hers. People need to get back to the days before social media where they had some tact and they didn't have a space to type out every little critic that came to thier minds. Damn. If she were thin, she'd be criticed for cellulite or her tattoos or her face, etc etc etc. You think anyone is saying anything new to her when they bring up her weight? No. Anyone that makes these comments needs to search thier own self as to why seeing a woman, OF ANY SIZE, triggers them to critic. Instead of letting her live her life. ????

lexclimation The thing about it is.....it’s a fact that fat people exist! And people who are fatphobic want you to cover up and be unseen, so where are we supposed to get clothes from? The tent store? Home Depot? No, we need clothing that fits our bodies in the right way. We need representation so that we know that clothing that fits us will be sold there so we can “cover up”. So even if we “cover up” there’s always going to be an issue of them having to see us, so eff it! Can’t please ‘em. And we are just people too, trying to navigate life as we can- just in a different way.

daddysworkwife Look Tess, you need to wake up to the fact that not all of them are quote on quote “hating” on you, some of them just want you to get help. I know, maybe you are trying to get a message out (I can’t be bothered explaining it) and that’s wonderful but, as people say it’s unhealthy. It’s honestly amazing how you’re spreading body positivity.. but it’s just not good for you. People may actually care that you may die in the next decade or so. I do love your confidence and looks so much but yeah.. I’m just putting it out there ?

anjaliknebworth It's incredible the amount of rage that seems to sprout from some people, simply for the reason that we're bigger... I've been thinner and I've been bigger, and I've noticed that some people (mostly women, interestingly) can get very vicious, very quickly, for no reason whatsoever. And people definitely smile at you more when you're thinner, even though that's when I felt the most miserable
