My 6 Month Scar Progress! ☀️
Can you believe it’s been 6 months since my emergency surgery?! Time flies! 😱
If you guys know me you know I will be getting my scar out with pride this summer. It is a story on my skin, pretty badass and I love wearing it with confidence. However, I also want to take care of it! Ever since my surgery I have been massaging my scar with pure vitamin E oil and applying @kelocoteUK to my scar twice a day, every day. The massage helps break down the deeper scar tissue layers and the silicone based gel helps flatten and soften the external scar 👌🏼 I am currently using the UV @kelocoteUK gel to protect my scar in the sun, and in the hottest hours of the day I try to keep it out of the sun completely ☀️

It looks so much like the scar that I have! I always felt VERY insecure about wearing a bikini after my surgery. But this summer (December for me cuz I live in Rio) I started to feel a little more comfortable to wear a bikini ?and proud as well because of the reason that I have the scar ???????

Hey ? sharing the same scar with you but it’s been 10 years since my operation ✌️ it has healed pretty well and haven’t used any products apart from sunscreen but could be better! Do you think it’ll help to use any of these? If you could ask your doctor/advisor and let me know that would be great ?

You are AMAZING!!!! I had a mole removed from my tummy and my god I’m in pain ... I’d rather give birth again... haha seriously I don’t know how everyone copes with this!!! I feel like I can’t move because everytime I do it starts to pull and bleed so I’ve gotta be careful! You’re an inspiration ??

I now have 5 scars to wear proudly (as I just had surgery for my heart yesterday).. I tell people all the time not to be ashamed of our scars because they are a part of us, they help make us who we are and we should embrace them for that as they all tell a story!.. ?

Hi Zanna, do you know if this works on older scars? I have a messy scar on my lower abdomen and having been on a fitness journey of late, would be cool to feel comfortable in a bikini soon! TIA x
