Sorry what did you say that zucchini was called in the UK. Do many countries use that term or just the French. BBQ with salt, pepper, garlic powder and olive oil is always a nice summer dish. I taught myself how to stir fry zucchini with onion and mung bean sprouts plus seasonings about 43 years ago. Age 12.

This show (was it Jamie At Home?) I remember so fondly. My brand new husband and I used to sit in our little condo and watch it - such a cozy feeling I get remembering those days. And of course, we were so inspired by the food and Jamie's genius!

No need to throw out the big ones! I like to fill them and bake them in the oven, or hubby (Sicilian chef) makes crespelle. Then there’s zucchini cake, muffins, or crema di zucchini as pasta sauce! And so much more. We don’t mind humdingers! 💚

My Nan used to grow them like that and make zucchini/courgette slice from them. And one of my Mum’s friends likes to scoop out the seeds and stuff them and bake them when they’re that big 😉
