ai.j.m Born and raised in El Paso. This weekend was heartbreaking and continues to be. The El Paso skies opened up and wept with us this weekend. Loved ones near and far calling to check on friends and family. Thoughts, prayers, tears. You would be surprised to feel such emotions in an embrace. It conveys relief of life and safety, and yet in the same embrace the sorrow, grief and fear. We as a city and as a nation are outraged and filled with disbelief, grief, anger and compassion. There are MANY issues that should be addressed. All I ask, when we post whatever platform we choose, PLEASE include some sort of thought, prayer, good vibe or a quiet moment for those lost this weekend in El Paso and Dayton, and for all those before us.
