Marlowe isn't feeling great today. The nerve block thing they gave her at the vet wore off, and she is clearly uncomfortable.
We're giving her the meds they prescribed, so she is sleeping a lot l, and occasionally sitting up to ask us if we can make her feel better.

Marlowe says that she loves you, and all your kindness means a lot to her.

purple_moon_pottery Is she on an anti-inflammatory as well, like Galliprant. I'm an LVT that sees this sort of thing all the time. Tramadol is "OK" but they've found it has to be in extremely high doses compared to what they thought. Love and healing to your precious.

freds_lolo My greyhound has soft tissue injury and the vet prescribed her gabapentin and it has been helping a lot. We hate to see our fur babies hurting so I hope it heals quickly. Goodluck to you and the wife....it's not easy work

rlrobertsrn She looks a little dazed but happy to be with her family. Keep her comfortable! My vet had me ice the leg too. And we went in for ultrasonic treatment to the incision to help with healing. What we won't do for these guys!

tenacious.tam My holistic vet has recommended laser therapy to help with inflammation and to heal wounds faster and cbd oil for pain and anxiety. Maybe you can consult with your vet regarding those options.

helmkampf I’m not sure what caring about the minutia if your life gives me in the long run, it for some reason, I’m glad to be apart of it. Can’t trust people that don’t like dogs....
