What began with an idea thousands of miles away, manifested into one of the greatest adventures of my life yet. - I came with a goal and I am leaving with familiarity of a new place, a better awareness with myself, an immense source of gratitude, and close friends that have become much closer. - The trip never felt easy. Close calls followed by heavy conversations about risk were frequent. Weird bugs crawling over us became the norm. And, dark days of consecutive jungle rain left us learning how to climb muddy volcanic rock. - Through it all, we filmed the process. I had the idea to make a documentary around a climb that j wanted to achieve with @angela_vanwiemeersch . My experience felt much beyond this summit. - I am excited to roll out some photos from the trip in the next days, but also to share this journey with all of you in a film.💓 - Also, it felt absolutely AMAZING to shower. And actually have a real bathroom without having to put on my snake boots and venture into the jungle brush with venomous snakes every time I needed to pee.
