THREE MONTHS OLD and gaining more more and personality every single day! The night before we dropped Presley off at her grandma’s house before we went on our first couples trip to New York City... I laid on our living room floor with Presley on my chest and just thought, One day I’m going to miss stuff like this.. (I guess you could say I had a “moment” ha!) 😭😢 If you’re a parent I’m sure you can relate when I say the first couple of months (at least for us) the days have been long and the fatigue can be a bit overwhelming, it’s hard to sometimes appreciate the little things because you’re so dang tired. As she’s growing and changing so much already, I’m realizing how quickly the time really goes and even in the those times I must remind myself to enjoy, cherish and embrace every moment (even the struggles, hardship and hard times) I recently read a quote that said: I’m tired. I’m also tired of being tired. I’ve also realized that one day I will get all the sleep I want because my kids won’t live here anymore and that makes me sad. (This quote really hit home) Enjoy, cherish and embrace every moment (kids or no kids soak this in & say it to yourself everyday 🙃)」12月16日 11時20分
