At least that’s what Jeffrey Gettleman, the Times's South Asia bureau chief, did. “In places like this, it’s always good to remind yourself that you want to leave the lightest footprint possible. Don’t corner animals so you can get that perfect pic. Don’t take home a paperweight from the ocean floor,” Gettleman writes. “I know, this all sounds ridiculously simple.
