Split-shots are not easy to achieve in cold water. Most of the time, you shoot blind by holding your gear on the side of the Zodiac. Usually you end up shooting hundreds of images and getting only a few that are fine. I was very pleased with this image because of the mountain in the background, the ice in the foreground, and just a hint of what lies underneath.
