When Hollywood power couple David Wasco and Sandy Reynolds-Wasco, a production designer and set decorator, decided to purchase a home tucked in the hills of Santa Barbara, their move was intended to provide a refuge from the demonic pace of moviemaking. And that it is has become. The light and breezy midcentury modern home embodies the best of residential architecture, filled with high-caliber furnishings to match.
In the kitchen, the custom cabinets and banquette by Architectural Millwork are in Douglas fir to match the original ceiling. The range is by @mieleusa, the washer and dryer are by @maytag, and the @tarkettofficial vinyl floor tiles were custom cut to nine-inch squares to mimic the flooring in the Eames House.
