Williamsburg just happened to be where one friend lived and another found us a cheap apartment. And it really was as saturated with colorful characters, creative energies and communal aspirations as they say. When we opened the Picture Farm Gallery, the whole neighborhood apparatus had already gone to shit thanks to the 2008 bubble-burst, but we were still true believers. We started the gallery to service the hangover of this ambition. Yuri is at the center of the idea.
