Frankie update! She’s going for walks now, she got her first bath (not sure she liked it), and she’s now allowed to run around the downstairs of our house during the day. This started because we came downstairs one morning and Frankie had escaped the kitchen. We finally found her just chilling in the tent in the den. Her favorite spot is the doormat next to the sliding glass door, but she spends most of her time on Mazzy and Harlow’s laps while they take their zoom classes. They spend so much more time with her now that she is out and about. I still get my Frankie time in the morning before everyone else wakes up. She watches me as I make my coffee and then bounds right over for a cuddle as soon as I sit down. For everyone who said, using puppy pads and containing in the kitchen would make it difficult to train her to go to the bathroom outside, you were right! We still think we did the right thing keeping her indoors but it definitely has added some work of unlearning. We’ll get there! #kingcharlescavalier
