Each sale benefits @DirectRelief, @CampaignZero and helps support our working photographers. Only 20 of each print was made! - “Browns Bluff, a basalt tuya, on the east side of the Tabrin Peninsula, which extends from the northernmost point of the Antarctic Peninsula southward into the Weddell Sea. This rock is called Brown’s Bluff due to its steep cliffs and its black to brown hyaloclastile. At the base of this bluff, one can see colonies of gentoo and adelie penguins, as well as other sea birds. I was lucky enough to come to this area as the photography expedition leader for a National Geographic Expedition, one of its many trips to Antarctica. As the light fell behind the bluff, the rock turned a solid black, a mysterious form, in contrast to the reflecting light glittering across the Antarctic Sound. In Antarctica, the light never fully sets, so the challenge is how to bring out an emotional reaction from a scene that is often photographed with the light high in the sky.” - Each collectable flash sale print has a 6.5” x 9.5” (approx.) image size on an 8.5” x 11” fine art paper. @EpsonProPhotography technology was chosen to produce the print for the highest quality and print permanence. Each print is signed with an acid-free, pigment-based pen for the greatest permanence on the front border.
