#PieroGolia: "Still life," an exhibition by Piero Golia, is currently on view at Gagosian, Britannia Street, London, through July 31.

For this exhibition, Golia has engineered a surreal “sculptural happening” by choreographing a set of objects and incidents to create a singular experience that seems to unfold outside of time. “Still Life (Rotating device),” is a roulette wheel from Las Vegas on a grand black marble base. The wheel is turning and the ball bobs around, looping around and around, never coming to rest in any one place, constantly denying the viewer a winning number.
