The market in this village sells their catch to local restaurants and other markets, and some trade their fish to local fish sauce companies. The bustling activity, however, generates a lot of rubbish and plastic that ends up on the shore, which is visible during low tide. Economic necessity and environmental concerns clash. The locals sort through the rubbish and collect recyclable items that can be sold.
