Sakaramy killifish like this one @denverzoo are endemic to Madagascar. On the island, this species is found in just two rivers and a few freshwater lakes. While it is possible additional populations exist, samples must be collected in order to confirm their presence and determine population size. Individuals of all sizes can be found swimming in areas with strong currents, but these fish are most abundant in calm, undisturbed pools. #fish #Sakaramy #killifish #Madagascar #swimming #PhotoArk #savetogether
