Happy Sunday.

I am a latecomer to The Yoga Party. Still on the gust list though🤍 Sound ON 🔈

I wanted to really love it, and many people I have met and know, repeatedly told me to do it- I just didn’t ‘get’ it.
By nature I am probably the opposite of Zen… Fast, overthinking, ADHD etc..
So less than two years ago, I decided to give it another shot.

It was at a lovely environment and there was a luminous Yogi and I started to enjoy it, in fact I love it.
I am still not great at it (apparently you don’t have t be :)
But it is a part of my daily life now.

So below are the few poses I can do and enjoy (stolen from @ニューヨーク・タイムズ)

Child's Pose
This calming pose is a good default pause position. You can use child’s pose to rest and refocus before continuing to your next pose. It gently stretches your lower back, hips, thighs, knees and ankles and relaxes your spine, shoulders and neck.


Downward-Facing Dog
This is one of the most common yoga poses. 

Plank Pose
A commonly seen exercise, plank helps build strength in the core, shoulders, arms and legs.

Cobra Pose
This back-bending pose can help strengthen the back muscles, increase spinal flexibility and stretches the chest, shoulders and abdomen.

Tree Pose
Beyond helping improve your balance, it can also strengthen your core, ankles, calves, thighs and spine #Yoga #yogapractice
