With Covid, his socialization protocol has been altered with not as many meet and greets. I remember the first time I took him to restaurant, he sat in my lap the whole time! Now that he is much much bigger, we didn’t try the sitting in lap thing. His new thing is to “station” on everything and as you can see in the last two photos, he did just that!! He is learning “station” with trainer Melissa, so he will put his front paws on a surface we select for him. It helps to direct him to an area we need him to be for various reasons. Well, he is a huge fan of the “station”!! . He behaved very well at Luna Grill and even behaved when the food came. We got an extra kabob for him! . He also did well at the pet store and took a treat from a nice lady!! . Dave and Melissa (and evening me) are working with him daily to direct his behavior to be socially acceptable and to help him as he develops and grows into a very very big boy to be an amazing Ambassador. He is NOT like a normal dog in many many ways... and we always have to remember that as we navigate life beside him! . He is truly a beautiful boy!! .
