The first section which you climb without the rope is super physical with lots of powerful moves on underclings and pinches, it’s hard to grade as a boulder, but as a route it seems to check in around 9a. The second portion of the route which you climb with a rope is 8c+, and is much less straight forward and particularly technical as there are of ton of different options for beta. Throughout the whole climb theres a ton of kneebars and rests, which is positive for recovering your arms, but really hard on the feet and legs 😅 This forces you to pick and choose which places to recover, and to move as quickly as possible through hardest sections. I’ve had about 5 sessions so far on this beast in the last month, and the average temperature has been about 35C/95F 🥵 I’ve honestly never tried to climb this hard with heat like this, and I never could imagine climbing with so much sweat pouring off my body, utterly chalkless hands, and falling with a completely terminal pump 😂🤯 It’s been a crazy learning experience, and a radical form of training, which despite the brutal suffering I’m actually beginning to embrace 🤔 The temperatures are finally cooling down here and with another month planned here in Rodellar I’m feeling really confident with the projects I’ve accumulated after working them in what I would call “adverse” conditions for myself 🤣🤪 I’ve never been so syked to climb routes in my career as a climber, and finally after about 8 months I’m starting to feel the flow I once experienced mannnny years ago on the walls, memories that seem like came from a forgotten dream or past life...I’ve been bouldering wayyy to much this decade 🙈 I have to say we are super lucky to be climbing with such an awesome equipo as well, muchos gracias to all the homies who bring the fanatismo, help move the pads, spot, and point the fan 😂🙌🏻 Super syked to try hard the next sessions and LEVEL UP 🔝 🎶 The tune in this vid is a new mashup I made and will post up on my Soundcloud 🎶」8月29日 2時09分
