AD Since we've all been staying mainly at home (that's going on seven months now), my family has been eating a lot more junk food than usual. I don't think it helps that I have a baker and snack plate maker in the family. And Mike, who does all the grocery shopping, seems to come back with junkier foods on every trip. Like he's suddenly eating all the things that his mom wouldn't let him eat in the '80s. We're not alone in this. A study done by @babybelus reports that 7 in 10 parents admit they’ve been eating more junk food since March. I guess desserts and snacks are one of the areas we all got less restrictive about, because there are so many new rules to abide by. This was okay at first, but lately I've noticed that it's making me not feel so great. I held a family meeting and told the kids that we are going to start making better snack choices as a family, like eating more fruit, nuts, raw veggies and Mini Babybel 100% Real Cheese, instead of overdoing it on cookies and potato chips.
