I wanted to thank everyone for following me and having a civil discourse around this topic. It is so rare to find people actually building bridges and finding common ground right now, so I am humbled and honored that it can exist here. I think no matter what your position is, you all know my end goal. I want the American people to come together and elect Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. A vote for sanity and decency that should unite us all. I want to stress again that Biden and Harris are moderate Democrats who also believe in building bridges. For many of us, Biden was not our chosen candidate because he is not more progressive, but we will back him fully now. Biden and Harris will help pass legislation to protect our environment, promote equal rights for all and make decisions based on the needs and safety of the American people as opposed to their own self interests. Three things that until recently were universally desired and not associated with a political party. And a simple but important thing... I want to be able to turn on the television and listen to the President speak while the kids are awake and in the room. I am not trying to build bridges with hardcore Trump supporters. I want to talk to the people who know Trump is not the right person for America but are having trouble making the leap to Biden. I want to understand why and maybe me or someone else here can offer a viewpoint or knowledge that can help you make your decision. A big warm welcome to the new people.
