The Overbeck sisters are best known as potters who produced original Art Deco and Art Nouveau-inspired ceramics featuring natural motifs from their home studio, Overbeck Pottery. Hannah, the second oldest sister, was a skilled sketch artist, who provided original designs for the sisters' studio. This is just one example of many of Hannah Borger Overbeck's ink and watercolor works in LACMA's collection.
