When I lived in NY I had friends who had a list of things they wanted in their husband. Many of which were physical and many of them were also materialistic. I myself have unintentionally dated men who probably had a lot of those things on their lists “good catches” and I learnt that none of that matters. But the number one thing I realised would bring me joy was having a best friend, a partner and a team mate for life. I found that in you @philipapayne thank you🙏❤️ I also never realised the importance of your own transparency of how you feel, what you need and asking for help from your partner. The work you do with yourself is a direct impact on your work you do in a relationship, so when I’m not checking in with myself and knowing where I’m at how would I be able to communicate with my partner. So I hope for any of you with a list or wondering when you’ll meet the perfect match figure out who you are first and remember you’ve always got you! You don’t need anyone to make you whole. Bringing someone into your life that uplifts you and fills you with joy and love is an addition. I’ve felt more alone in a relationship than being single. More insecure in a relationship than being single. And definitely more bored and unfulfilled in a relationship than being single. You already got all the love you need within yourself. All the tools to be fulfilled, secure and happy within yourself.
