Viktor has been asked to be in an upcoming film on the horrors of the fur industry. They made him a faux trap and we are working with him to place his foot in the trap. Today was his first training and by the last photo, it looks pretty darn successful!! . The Russian domesticated foxes don’t have an intense fear of new and novel things. So showing him the trap and having him place his foot near it, on it, and in it, is about showing him what you want him to do vs first having to acclimate him to a novel item. . Also the Russian domesticated foxes are pretty darn chill... so they are very calm when training them on a new task. We certainly had a lot of fun watching how quickly he picks up what we are asking him to do! .
