Thought I'd share some of these things in case they help you too: 1. How often we think about the past, or worry about the future (it doesn't exist yet, so try to keep your mind in the present every time it wanders) 2. How much we get outside and off our phones to enjoy the Autumn colours. 3. How we dress for the weather, so we can get out no matter what. 4. How much time we spend online and what content we're consuming. 5. How much negative news we're consuming. 6. How many times we smile at others. 7. How often we tell people we love them and show our appreciation to them. 8. How often we notice and appreciate small acts of kindness. 9. When we ask for help or admit to loved ones we're struggling. 10. The attention we give to our loved ones - whether that's on the phone or arranging group calls etc. 11. How much we remind ourselves to enjoy and be grateful for the things we have right now. 12. Whether or not we communicate something that's on our mind. 13. How nice we are to ourselves (correcting the voice in our head, having baths, cutting out toxic people) 14. The TV and films we watch. 15. The books that we read (or whether we read at all). 16. What we say yes and no to. 17. How much alcohol we consume. 18. How we choose to react to things that our outside of our control. I know it's so easy to worry about the future at the moment... Will my partner be allowed in for my birth? Will lockdown end on the 2nd December? Will my parents be ok? Etc. But whenever I get consumed with worrying about the future I have to check myself and remind myself that worrying will not change the outcome. And I just focus on today: what will make me feel good today? Turning off my phone to enjoy the Autumn leaves, catching up with friends, cooking a roast. A hot bath. I hope everyone is ok. 💕」11月1日 23時46分 - ashleylouisejames

My current happy place in what's become my everyday uniform. It looks like I've turned the colour up on the photo, but this is just what my local park looks like at the moment. 🍂🐩🧡

There's a lot that's out of things that are out of our control at the moment: lockdown, the weather, etc... but I'm trying to focus on things I can control that make me feel good.
