It's #OrangutanAwarenessWeek and today we're highlighting OFI's #Reforestation Team!
At OFI, we don't just rescue #orangutans. We also address the root of the issue through education and reforestation. Since the launch of our Reforestation Program in 2017, we've planted around 370,000 native seedlings in forests that were destroyed in the massive fires of 2015 and 2019.
In this video, the team is planting around 4,000 native trees at the Rawa Kuno Legacy Forest which burned during the 2015 fires.
