SEASON OF GRATITUDE: DAY 1

Happy Thanksgiving🧡

One of the things I’m most grateful for in 2020 was having three weeks with my parents in Colorado. Hiking, laughing, eating, and working alongside one another. It was healing to my heart in places I didn’t know I still had wounds from my childhood and all of the struggle we went through as a family. I’m grateful that I’m reaching a place in my journey where I can truly see my parents for who they are and am no longer comparing them against who I need or expect them to be.
I see them as two huge hearted, intelligent, and silly souls who joined together to create four incredible humans.
Sharing space with them gave me so much to look at and work on within myself.
I didn’t realize how much I missed having them both in the same space.
It’s a feeling that will live in me forever.
