"On winter solstice of 2018, I drove down to the shores of Lake Clark National Park & Preserve in Alaska to capture the golden hour. With less than six hours of sunlight in the day, the sun began to sink below the mountains just after 4pm, lighting up the peaks across the lake in pink. A brisk wind had blown some fog off the lake that allowed me to capture this shot."
