'We recently lost my father, Sam's grandfather, to Covid. Sam is a beautiful artist, just like his grandfather before him, but more than that, he's a beautiful human being. At 14 he is as kind and as sensitive as he has been since he was a toddler, and I am proud to walk by his side and see the principled, caring man he will become.
