An eye opening exploration of female sexuality and desire through three very different women’s experiences - hugely thought provoking and at times challenging. ➡️ A Promised Land by @barackobama. A beast of a book! This memoir from the former president is dense, intense but SO interesting. ➡️ The Vanishing Half by @britrbennett. A novel following a family’s path across generations, including important exploration of issues around race. An immersive page turner. ➡️ Selfish, Shallow & Self Absorbed by @meghan_daum. A collection of 16 essays on the decision not to have kids. Each writer has such different reasons behind their choice and it provides an important insight into others perspectives - regardless of whether you want kids or not.
