I even had to limit how much I held my baby when she was in the NiCU! Nurses kept telling me she needs to lay down and sleep so she gains weight. We spent a few weeks in the NiCU at the @oakvillehf and I lived in a family room sponsored by the Sandra Schmirler Foundation. I’d see the sign on my door #championsstartsmall many times a day and it would make me smile.
