At the age of 8 I became a school librarian because I wanted to encourage others to read whilst also exploring my own mind; I didn’t fit in well in social situations because I was bullied terribly and felt safe in the library away from the world and free to explore literature whilst the other children played outdoors. I organised book displays, sorted the index and put up inviting posters and quizzes that I’d made (and laminated) to brighten up the room - I was given this special space which was entirely my own to do as I wished and I absolutely loved it. At the age of 12yrs I was first published for writing poetry and based my inspiration on the angst of a young mind; the struggles we face to find our place in the world and ability to express oneself. By my early twenties I had been in most newspapers, magazines and TV stations around the world as a model yet had so much more to give with my mind. By my late twenties I then moved into fitness journalism showing how people can overcome health issues and parenthood to become the strongest, healthiest and happiest version of themselves whilst promoting plant-based nutrition as a qualified personal trainer and nutritionist. I’m proud to have been in fitness publications around the world as a professional bodybuilder after achieving my pro-card and overcoming health issues. Amassing 4million followers across my social media, I have used my platform for good to fundraise for many charities, speak out about mental and sexual health and bring veganism to the forefront of leading an active and energetic lifestyle as well as animal rights.
