A paper comb to brush through the webbed weary of the heart and mind. A resting place to let earth wash over. Waves move in and move out. Ebb and flow, letting go and letting go. Of aches and words, of noise and news, of pandemic drain, of missed moments, of ego in ours & theirs, of pulls and vies, of lonely spaces, of bills and rent and realities. Grit and shell stone and pearls and jewels. It’s not one or the other, it’s all, in movement, in washing, in waves.

A Book of The Sea by @loombound arrived to my shoreline with silk and seaweed and good tidings. For a moment I felt seaspray and salve and remembrance. I suddenly found myself in sand with the sea kissing my feet, and raindrops softening the earth of my heart once again. The wild ponies galloped through enjoying a new landscape outside the prairie.
