I headed back to East London to meet Steve and his team, East End Phoenix, an LGBTQ+ team set up to offer players a comfortable place to play football.

I’ve been part of dressing rooms where it felt like one big family and the environment Steve has created for this team feels exactly like that. It’s amazing what it can do for individuals on and off the field 🙌🏼
