Mindful eating is a concept with its roots in Buddhist teaching and is a very common practice in Japan!

In the last few days we have been experiencing amazing bento box style savory breakfast with all different type of little bites with rice, miso soup, fish , tofu and pickled vegetables.

Not only helps this set up make you eat more mindful, it will nourish your body with lots of vegetables, proteins, healthy fat & carbs. There are small habits you can incorporate in your daily life to become a little more mindful while eating! It can improve your digestion and overall health :) definitely feeling so inspired to take this with me when I come back home. @hyattregencykyoto
