An old project at the Roost was sitting there waiting to be dolled up. I got the green light from Andy and put in that blue collar work! The result was stunning and I got lucky to send it first. Wtf?! The shape is a clean bulge and the colors are white, orange and dark grey of flowstone. It’s steep af and the climbing is physical but broken up with big rests (kneebars and jugs), what’s better than that?! I’d say if you’re looking for your first 9a…. This is it. “Resisting was one of those lines I ran right up to and bolted immediately after moving to Vegas in 2010. Can’t really get any better than an ultra steep, consistent, powerful limestone line ending on a blue streak. After bolting I realized it was too hard for me and left it for the next generation.
