I'm wearing a size UK8 here which is my default size for upper and lower body (due to having curves) but in hindsight I could have switched to a UK6 for how beautiful this fit is with the contoured panels to the hips and generous waist and bust space. It all depends on if your want a skintight fit to your dresses or slightly lose and the zip back fastening conveniently allows for both. Being a tall girl I often find maxi dresses come up a little short on me but this would be floor length in flats, with the dramatic side split adding a splash of Hollywood glam which is complimented by the twinkling floral rib detailing. Throw in a Bollywood twist with the beautiful shoulder drape and I literally could not be more in love with this striking feminine piece. To top it off, blue is the colour of the throat chakra Vishuddha which is responsible for communication, self-expression and the ability to speak your personal truth. As a Catholic turned Buddhist, feminist, humanitarian and mother this dress makes me feel ontop of the world in all of my roles.
