I learned it is crucial to be flexible and patient in PNG! We were supposed to go to the Highlands to see some of the tribes, but our flights kept getting cancelled, so we jumped on a flight to Milne Bay, and I’m so glad we did! It took a plane, bus, and boat to get to the island we were staying at, then another boat to get to the remote area where these photos were taken. They are: 1. A tribe who lives nearby (photo permission asked) 2. The hidden waterfall 3. Skull cave from cannibalism (in the past) 4. A crashed plane (no one injured) 5.
