アリサ・ラモスさんのインスタグラム動画 - (アリサ・ラモスInstagram)「Port Moresby in Papua New Guinea has a bad stereotype of being “So dangerous” and a “terrible city” 🙄 I’d love to know if the people who said that have ever even been there, or if they have, what they decided to do, because I was there and I definitely didn’t find it dangerous, in fact, I found it pretty similar to many cities I see on my travels! In fact, I was actually very pleasantly surprised to find the fabulous aspects of Port Moresby! I didn’t ignore the many danger concerns, I just acted as the smart, positive, and open minded traveler that I am, and booked nice hotels in recommended areas, and did things that both expats and locals recommended…not someone who went for a couple days to say they went to PNG and had no idea what to do so found it scary. I must emphasize on the fact that I felt safe bc of where I stayed and the particular things I did. I did not walk around alone at night or venture off into areas I wasn’t recommended. Some may claim that’s not being adventurous but idgaf because I was safe and I had a great time! If you travel to Papua New Guinea, staying in Port Moresby is usually necessary as it is the hub to get anywhere else (other areas are all only accessible by plane).
