Video and photos by Tomas van Houtryve @tomasvh | The spire of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris, identical to the one that burned in April 2019, is being rebuilt. The base of the spire is the first section to be installed. It rests directly on stone at the cathedral’s crossing, and it will ensure the stability of the entire wooden structure. When completed, the spire will be 216 feet (66 meters) tall and reach 315 feet (96 meters) above the ground.
