Meet Misty Blue.
She had a bit of a past (like we all do.) She most likely was modeling some fast fashion nonsense in a mall catering to the insatiable desire the masses have for disposable wear. I can only pray she never had to display a trucker hat with a slogan something like, “Just Add Tequila” or worse “Girl Boss” spelled out in cheap pink crystals.
She had many scars and lots of damage when I found her (like we all do.) And that’s when the makeover began. She had no distinction in her eye area, it was just smooth. So, I used a resin-based clay to form eyelids and eye balls as well as that same clay to reshape her mouth and make the jeweled collar piece. Her hair is plaster and the wooden cylindrical body is a piece I had by @jamesenglishstudio ❤️👋🏻.
At 28” tall with a new look, she’s ready for her next better chapter. No truck hats in sight.
