PART 4: “It snowed on and off for the next 8 days, allowing for lots of goofing around, a little skiing, but putting a kibosh on any more climbing. On April 29th, we were picked up before another week-long storm slammed into the Alaska range. The rest of the 2023 Alaska climbing season proved to be one of the stormiest in years. I still can’t believe how lucky we got with our timing. It could have easily not worked out.”
