It’s definitely a more popular destination and for good reason - it is STUNNING! 🤩 🥾 Hike: I highly recommend exploring the trails around the main attractions (like Lake Louise/Moraine) as you’ll often get better views and escape the crowds. Here are some of our favourite routes: ➡️ Little Beehive Lookout (above Lake Louise) ➡️ Eiffel Lake (from Lake Moraine) ➡️ Cirque Peak via Helen Lake (our favourite hike, very spicy & scrambly) 🧗‍♀️ Climb: If you want to try via ferrata for the first time, check out the Mount Norquay route on the peaks above Banff. You get a guide & it’s perfect for beginners! 🌊 Swim: We swam every day, our favourite spots for a dip included: ➡️ Helen Lake ➡️ Eiffel Lake ➡️ Two Jack Lake These three are not as glacial as many lakes in Banff, but still cold and refreshing. 🚗 Travel: You definitely need a car to get around and access many trailheads. Some great scenic roads include: ➡️ Icefields Parkway ➡️ Bow Valley Parkway 🏨 Stay: We stayed at @basecampsuitesbanff. Each room has its own kitchenette, which is super useful when you’re prepping your own breakfasts & packed lunches every day.
