Sometimes when you take a moment to zoom out, the best views are waiting for you.

This view of NGC 6822 from @nasawebb’s near-infrared camera shows countless stars in a variety of brightnesses. Brighter stars appear pale blue and cyan, while fainter stars appear warmer colors.

Four different views of the same Webb image of NGC 6822 with the words “Slow down. Breathe. It’s ok to take a break. Sometimes you have to zoom out for the best view.”

The first image zooms into the densely packed star field with stars appearing pale blue and in warmer colors.

The second image zooms out of the star field with focuses on bright orange areas of dust and gas.

The third image shows two very bright stars with diffraction spikes against the star field.

The last image zooms out to show the majority of the densely packed star field, showing there are more stars than were visible in the first three images.
